I have been waiting to share these pictures ever since the session took place! Nikki & Ray are so adorable that their cuteness meter was off the charts...seriously. I had such an amazing time with them and the pictures turned out beautifully! These two lovebirds met at an event for the Navigators {a Christian college ministry} and have been doing a long distance relationship since {she's in Florida & he's in Colorado}. They share a common love for thrift stores, good food, hiking, bluegrass music and farmer's markets. Ray also plays the guitar, banjo and get this....the harmonica! Isn't that awesome? I loved being able to meet these two incredible people and take their pictures. Nikki & Ray, praying for the Lord's guidance and wisdom for future plans! Enjoy...

{friends!}
Having those special friends in our lives is important, especially as women and believers in Christ. We need one another so we can be encouraged, cared for and loved. There's nothing like sitting down and talking with a friend about what the Lord is doing in your life. It's so refreshing!
Meet Sara, Rachel, Crystal & Becca. They are special friends who love the Lord and allow their joy to overflow and touch those around them. Their spirit is contagious and you can't help but have a good time when you're around these girls. They are beautiful inside and out. I'm so thankful for their heart for people and for the encouragement they are to me. :)
"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!"

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Rae-Alice-Photography/107222362635453Rachel was such a great subject to work with and her family was so welcoming! They live out in the country and there were so many beautiful places to take pictures. We even took some in the family's garden! Their family also adopted a beautiful little girl {Josie} just last month. They have such a love for people and it's evident in their lives! Thanks for letting me take your pictures, Rachel! :)
Isn't she beautiful?
This is Josie. She was helping pick green beans in the garden. :)
Blueberries!
My hubby and I went blueberry picking at Cheri's Berries right down the road from us. They just opened this year but their blueberry bushes were loaded.....I was in blueberry heaven! There's nothing like fresh blueberry jam, blueberries on top of vanilla ice cream or blueberry pancakes. Feels like summer.... :)
