Family Vacation {Part 3} Falls & The Proposal

Our vacation concluded with a little more hiking to see some waterfalls and my baby sister getting engaged! Nick {my soon-to-be brother} took Leanna out to kayak to one of the islands and it's there that he popped the question! We are all so excited for them. My sister is going to make a beautiful bride...

Love these two munchkins!

Me & the hubs. :)

All the grandkids! {Minus baby Audrey}

Nick & Leanna coming back from the island....did she say yes?

I think that's a yes!

Showing off her bling.

More hiking...

Isn't my sister's ring gorgeous?

Making our way to another waterfall.

"Little" brother showing off his muscles. Impressed?

Noah being super adorable as always. Photo cred: Leanna

The morning after my sister got engaged, we went back out to the island where he popped the question to do a re-enactment....so beautiful!

Love these photos of Noah! Isn't he the cutest ever?

And I couldn't think of a better photo to end on than Joel holding the newest addition the family. He's going to be a great daddy someday... :)

Family Vacation {Part 2} Hiking at Table Rock

Each year while we're up in the mountains, we like to spend a few days hiking. We usually do an easier, shorter trail so the kids can join in and then those of us who want to conquer mountains and brag about it later, take on the challenge of going on a more difficult hike. Let's just say that this year I didn't quite conquer. Yes, I made it to the top but it wasn't easy. Apparently, we hiked Table Rock when we were kids and almost got eaten by bears.....ok, that was an exaggeration but we did start our hike a little later in the day, underestimated how long the trail was and had to walk back down the mountain in the dark....pretty scary, right?

Even though it was a little rough heading up, the view was worth all the hard work. My lucky husband even got to rub my feet. ;)

This is when we were still happy & had energy.

Mom & Dad. Aren't they adorable?

The guys stopped to do some rappelling.

 Oh...and mom. :)

One of the lookouts...

 The Summit...finally!

My baby looks so good with a camera in his hands, doing what he does best.
